The Government of the Kyrgyz Republic has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Kyrgyz Renewable Energy Development Project (KRED), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the Contract for Design, Supply and Installation of Bystrovskaya Small Hydropower Plant. 2. The Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Design, Supply and Installation of Bystrovskaya Small Hydropower Plant located in the Chuy Region of the Kyrgyz Republic with delivery/construction period of 22 months including the following items: Replacement of the runner for Hydropower Units No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3 Replacement of turbine shafts No. 2 and No. 3 Replacement of oil pressure units Replacement of 35 kV oil circuit breakers Local concrete repair Installation of hydraulically operated gates 3. Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. 4. Bids will be evaluated in accordance with the evaluation process set out in the bidding documents. 5. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Mr. Gulzhigit Murzakarimov, PMO Director, e-mail: murzakarimovg@gmail.com and kred.pmo@gmail.com and inspect the bidding document during office hours 09:00 to 17:00 hours at the address given below . 6. The bidding document in English may be obtained by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below.
